condition scoring system in your daily management practice, then the greater the success you will
have in every area of lamb production.
To enable you to have a maximum number of lambs from your ewes, having your ewes in the correct
body condition at breeding time, is the first important step. The management tool of flushing,
increasing the body condition of your ewes before breeding has been shown through many studies to
be an important part of your years success. Condition scoring is also a vital tool as the gestation
period moves ahead, making sure the ewes are in adequate condition at lambing time.
