The Steamer at the show.
Allis Chalmers bought out the Gaar Scott steam engines in the early
years. This fine steamer, owned by Bob Anderson, pulled an 8 bottom
plough, a John Deere, 2 bottoms per lever. Bob and his equipment were a
great draw for the show, a real big crowd pleaser. Worth mentioning,
Bob made this steamer up himself from parts bought from a great
distance apart and over many years. Now that's dedication! We managed
to get lots of great footage of the steamer working, plus interviews,
etc.. Bob's in the middle on the plough, left in the picture!
