Allis Chalmers swathers and combines were a major part of the Gathering
of the Orange show at Portage this year.
There were 2 swathers demonstrated at the show. This smaller one and
then a larger swather, I believe made by MacDon Industries. If it was,
it must have been one of its earliest swathers I would think. Whatever
the demonstration, in most cases the engine pulling and powering the
units were all in great shape, many only just recently restored.
