In the first couple of days I had the pleasure of meeting the Chief Executive of the ISDS, Norman Lorton. He was busily trying to get the ISDS tent up and running it, as well as making a very good cup of tea on a propane camping stove. As the bits got put together in the tent, the merchandise began to be put out on the tables. Whistles, books, video tapes, shirts, caps, badges, and other Border Collie gifts were brought out to put everyone in the true Border Collie Association mood, as well as a large presentation from the Offaly District Council. The Offaly District Council was one of the sponsors of this World Sheep Dog Trial.
