A well produced,
professional video program can become a powerful tool for the promotion of
many products and ideas and also a valuable tool in explaining and
demonstrating a wide range of management procedures.
Whatever the subject involves, each
program is considered independently, identifying the target audience and the
level of understanding to which the program is aimed.
From the beginning, we will work with you to determine the need and
requirements of your program. Each program produced by Rural Route Videos has
to meet the expectations of our clients.

10 STEPS IN PRODUCING A VIDEO
PROGRAM |
1. |
Identify the
audience and the purpose of the video. This will determine the
necessary structure and theme for the program.
|
|
2.
|
Plan out the
structure so that all of the important areas are covered, and the
basis for a script is established.
|
|
3.
|
Develop a script and
story that will adequately convey the message to the audience.
|
|
4.
|
Once the script has
been written, a story board has to be established to ensure an
imaginative and accurate illustration of the script.
|
|
5.
|
Plan with the client
the filming days required to complete the story board, including
meetings with the individuals for program testimonials.
|
|
6.
|
Undertake filming
schedule as planned between the client and RRV.
|
|
7.
|
Time code all
footage and log into computer.
|
|
8.
|
Adjust script to
ensure complete continuity between the script, testimonials and the
footage.
|
|
9.
|
Complete in house or
professional read.
|
|
10.
|
Bring together the
script, the different testimonials, the footage, the graphics etc,
into the final edit.

"RRV has produced a total of three prgrams for our
company. They have become extremely useful marketing tools in the
promotion of our various wildlife deterrent systems. These videos have
been sent throughout the world, from Airport Authorities in Japan and
Iceland, Fish Farms in Israel, to Grape Growers in Australia and the U.S..
We have received many compliments about the videos produced for us by RRV,
with reards to their quality and imaginative production."

"I have worked with Martin Penfold on the
production of several video programs relating to agriculture... Martin's
background and understanding of agriculture is a tremendous asset. ...Due
to his interest and experience in animal husbandry, he is able to
understand and assimilate information from research and field trials and
quickly adapt it in an easily understandable form"

"... when we first thought of producing a video
about the Shaver Beefblend concept, it was to explain, in a simple way,
the benefits in using one of our composite bulls in a commercial cattle
operation. Through Martin's interest in the beef industry, and as a beef
producer himself, he was able to look at our breeding program and
determine an organized way of explaining our message. We have sent the
video out to hundreds of interested producers and, over the years, it has
become an important tool in marketing our bulls. The video really did the
job for us, and years after the original video was produced, we still get
compliments about the picture quality and the informational content. We
have also used RRV to produce short TV advertisements which have been a
great tool in spreading our message. We now use RRV for all our video
productions and TV promotions."

"In 1994 we decided to put together a promotional
video, demonstrating the line of silage equipment that we handle, the
silage bagger, AgrilPAC plastic and Farm Aid mixer wagons. We looked for a
company that was capable of taking on the entire job, from script through
to the final edit. Rural Route Videos was our choice. The program was
completed on time and on budget... We were very satisfied with the quality
of work and the willingness of Martin to accommodate our wishes and
changes. For anyone looking to produce a video program, I would recommend
Rural Route Videos."

"I worked with Martin on a slide show for an
important presentation at a marketing conference. Martin provided not only
his photographic skills, but also the arrangement and planning of the
presentation. Working with Martin was a pleasure and a learning experience
for me. Preparation is 90% of the battle and, thanks to Martin, I was
prepared and my presentation was extremely well received"
